We have a full time Event Coordinator on staff that will help bring your dreams to life. Events can range from a corporate meeting to a wedding ceremony and reception. With over 12,000 square feet of space and four distinct rooms we can host a large variety of events such as: weddings, wedding receptions, meetings, corporate retreats, talent shows, auctions, banquets, Sunday church services, proms, dances, and birthday parties. The Emerald Event Center is located in the Historic ORD section of Greensboro. During the Second World War, the Overseas Relief Depot was a thriving and vital part of Greensboro's community and economy and our country's defense. Today, revitalization is beginning in this often forgotten part of the City.

We first opened our doors to the public in March of 2005. What was the Hassinger Lumber Wholesaler is now the Emerald Event Center after a year of construction to renovate the warehouse into four distinct rental rooms. We are continuously adding to each of our rooms, whether its new chandeliers or new carpets. So come by for a look at our gem of an Event Center.
